Simon & Garfunkel 是我最喜歡的二重唱。情緒低落的時候聽聽他們的歌聲，覺得一顆心被雙手捧著，呵護著，所有煩躁無奈都被撫平慰藉了。
有如天籟的合聲，正如歌詞：I will ease your mind 的撫慰人心。
1964年推出成團後的第一張專輯：Wednesday Morning, 3 AM，成績不甚理想，沒有發揮兩人和聲的美感，發片後，首度分道揚鑣。直到1966年，Tom Wilson 為他們灌製 The Sound Of Silence才又將兩個人兜在一起。1969年，兩人的Mrs.Robbinson在葛萊美獎中獲得年度最佳唱片。合作多年的Simon & Garfunkel始終傳出不合，最終免不了走上跟其他團隊一樣的命運，樂團走紅了，卻步上各自單飛的結果。
2003年獲頒葛萊美獎終身成就獎。
YouTuBe有一段影片，由「畢業生」男主角：達夫汀霍夫曼Dustin Hoffman介紹Simon & Garfunkel 出場，演唱「畢業生」主題曲：史城博覽會Scarborough Fair，本應感人的橋段，卻讓人看見光陰的流逝與殘忍。
